Rockford Ambulatory Surgery Center
Specializing only in outpatient procedures, Rockford Ambulatory provides patients and their surgeons of choice with a quiet, stable environment for any operation. Because it’s not a hospital, patients can recover in the quiet and comfort of their homes.
Rockford Ambulatory’s network of surgeons includes all three of Rockford’s hospitals and many experts from around the region. Surgery is all that we do, so our procedures are an efficient and cost-effective alternative to the hospital.
Every patient is carefully screened, to ensure that no one goes home with an infection. We’re proud to maintain a 0.1 percent infection rate.
High-tech equipment inside our five fully equipped operating rooms allows surgeons at Rockford Ambulatory to perform many procedures.
Some of the most common include removal of cataracts, hernias, tonsils and gall bladders; laparoscopies; plastic surgeries; foot surgeries; and ear tube implants. Pain management treatments, including spinal cord stimulation and radio frequency ablation, also are available.
This year, more than 5,000 patients will choose a different way to do surgery. Discover what makes Rockford Ambulatory an effective alternative.
